Planning Essentials

Planning Essentials is a 3-hour workshop with school leadership teams to help leaders formulate their technology vision and align it to their school’s priorities. During the workshop an Apple Education Specialist will guide leaders through several activities that will provide schools with a tailored project deployment plan for successful implementation.

  • Understand the essential elements for creating a technology-rich learning environment

  • Create an individual project plan for your context

  • Discover an integrated approach for managing the deployment through each stage of implementation

Teaching with Mac

Teaching with Mac is a series of three workshop modules designed to help teachers go further with productivity and creativity tools on their Mac. Mac is ideal for teachers who want the ability, power, and performance to be productive and create engaging teaching materials on one device.

  • Mac Basics - experience the power of macOS with features such as Stage Manager, Split View, Stacks and more.

  • Mac Productivity - explore amazing productivity tools on Mac including Mail, Safari, Notes, Reminders and Freeform. Go further and practice using Continuity Camera, Dictation, Shortcuts, Focus, Accessibility tools, Desk View and Reference Mode with Sidecar.

  • Mac Creativity - See how easy it is for educators to plan, create and share rich, interactive content with students. Explore Screenshot, QuickTime and Photos and learn how to create an instructional resource to share with students.

  • Educators new to Mac who want to learn how to navigate Mac, set up system preferences and explore inbuilt features to be productive.

  • Ideally 3 members from a school representing Leadership, IT, Teaching & Learning
