E-waste is growing faster than any type of waste. Our Buyback program can reduce your environmental impact via the circular economy – a system where products are reused or recycled.

Extract value from your old or unused tech

We provide indicative value based on the information you share with us. If you wish to proceed, we will collect, assess and provide you with a final offer. If you accept the final offer, we will apply this as a credit to your JB Hi-Fi Education account for future orders. Alternatively, you can request funds rather than credit.

Protect your information

We ensure all your business data is securely erased to enterprise standards. If we determine the data can't be erased, the product will be destroyed appropriately by physical means and ethically recycled.

No additional or hidden costs

The final offer for this service includes everything from device collection, certified secure data erasure and e-waste recycling.

Buyback in 3 simple steps 

Step 1: Request and quote

Contact us on 1300 746 752 or fill out this form to request a Buyback quote. Next, we will send you a Buyback agreement and asset valuation template to complete and return. Once received, we will provide you with an indicative quote based on the assets provided in the template.

Step 2: Prepare and assess

If you agree to proceed, devices must be prepared for collection with any activation locks or passwords removed and the device unenrolled from device management. Relevant devices will also need to complete a factory reset and any SD/ SIM cards must be removed. Following assessment, you will receive a final buyback offer.

Step 3: Payment

If you choose to accept the final offer, ownership of your assets will be transitioned to our Buyback partner. Payment is then released to your commercial account as a credit or made as an EFT settlement where requested.
